Last month we had the best group of students and babies at our newborn photography workshop! We had a total of 13 babies in a span of four days and we had so much fun posing and styling all of our set ups. The weather even blessed us with an afternoon of warmth, so that we could venture outside with one of our farthest traveling models. I believe his little family traveled about four hours to get to our studio. I’m so glad we had him… he was a perfect little guy! We honestly couldn’t have asked for better babies. I believe we only have one or two spots left available in our 2 day workshop in Ontario, Canada. So, if you are interested in booking please contact us very soon! Australia was absolutely beautiful and I totally envy all the photographers who live along this gorgeous coast line! Our little models and new mommies were also quite stunning as well. I’ve been waiting for this session for years! When Jessica Claire Norwoood, world renowned wedding photographer, first announced her engagement, I became one of those annoying people wanting to know when they were going to have a baby. Only I asked in a baby photographer’s manner, “When shall I book your newborn session?”! haha!

So… I am so excited to not only meet the wonderful Jessica, but also her loving husband, Jeff, their adoring pup, Acey and last but not least, their adorable new addition, Locke.

Carrie and I always consider it a treat to photograph a sweet newborn any day, but it’s especially cool when we get to have a newborn session on our birthdays. I think it’s a true testament to how much we love what we do! Little Smith was truly the sweetest little subject and I think she made Carrie’s birthday this year even more wonderful. The past two weeks have been SLAMMED with tons of newborns! We had our workshops on the 14th and 15th and we haven’t caught a break since, to expect to see lots of babies here soon!

This sweet little girl had the best chubby cheeks. She joins her family to make five beautiful children! That’s her older sister holding her in the last image… she was an absolute natural with her!
