*Please note that in the interest of the newborn’s safety, which is always our number one priority, many of the images below are composites. There was always at least one and sometimes two people spotting the baby at all times.

Australia was absolutely beautiful and I totally envy all the photographers who live along this gorgeous coast line! Our little models and new mommies were also quite stunning as well. Combined they made for some amazing set ups! Thanks again to all that participated in making the outdoor shoots possible! In other news… I released the 2012 workshop schedule- TODAY! There are so many things to be thankful for this time of year and this little girl is, without a doubt, one of them. Carrie and I always consider it a treat to photograph a sweet newborn any day, but it’s especially cool when we get to have a newborn session on our birthdays. I think it’s a true testament to how much we love what we do! Little Smith was truly the sweetest little subject and I think she made Carrie’s birthday this year even more wonderful. The past two weeks have been SLAMMED with tons of newborns! We had our workshops on the 14th and 15th and we haven’t caught a break since, to expect to see lots of babies here soon!

This sweet little girl had the best chubby cheeks. She joins her family to make five beautiful children! That’s her older sister holding her in the last image… she was an absolute natural with her! Little Aubrey debuts our new and lovely little headbands created by the wonderfully talented Amelia Hambrook. I love how dainty and sweet they are, which fits perfectly with beautiful little Aubrey. Thank you so much, Amelia! Having these makes me want even more! I’m hooked!

I haven’t been back home in about 5 months! I was so homesick! I have been here for a week and have loved spending every minute with my family. I missed them so much!! I was able to fit in one newborn during my visit. I have photographed little Luke’s family several times in the past years, so I was so excited to hear that their family was growing. Finally they have their boy! I’m so happy for them. He was such a good little guy, too. I must say I missed Carrie… I’m sure Ill get my fix this week as we have 6+ newborns lined up for my return (Including twins!). I can’t wait!

This little guy had quite the set of smoochable lips! Surprisingly enough, this wasn’t the first time this little guy has been behind our lens! The first time he was still in his mommy’s tummy, though! It’s so fun to see new little families growing!
