Baby as Art

As you can tell…. I had an amazing time in Albany with the wonderful Jessica Washburn‘s fifth child- a little girl named Eva. Because it’s always a challenge when it comes to scheduling flights in advance for a newborn session, Eva was a little older (17 days, I think) than when I usually photograph newborns. We didn’t let her “older” age hold us back. A ton of patience and love helped bring our ideas to a reality! It also helped that Jessica had a studio light, so I could literally shot ALL DAY (ever photographed a newborn at 11 something at night? I have now!)! Haha! There were so many great shots I had to sift through… and I’m still not finished! Getting Mommy + Baby shots was really important for Jessica, because she is always behind the camera. It was easy taking pictures of Jessica and Eva, because Jessica is just plain beautiful… as is her love for her littlest girl. I hope you guys enjoy sweet Eva as much as I did. Thanks so much for being such a wonderful host Jessica! I had a blast!
