The Boutwell babe.

This certainly isn’t little Max’s internet debut, but I couldn’t resist sharing this little guy! I have a feeling he has lots of photo shoots in his future.

I LOVE your work. Simply beautiful. Question… do you shoot in manual mode? I never would have thought to move the ISO around so much… I am learning to use my manual mode and always forget about the ISO and just keep it in auto. Any advice to getting these great shots?

Thanks for all the kind comments all :)

Cassandra: Yes, I shoot completely manually. The day of Max’s shoot it was super dark, so I was definitely moving my ISO around more than usual. I don’t like to go above 1250, so Ill adjust the other settings (ss and aperture) accordingly. Definitely give manual a try- it makes a huge difference!

Such an inspiration, as always. These are all breathtaking! The light and pose (and expressions) in #2 are simply divine. And #3, who could resist such an adorable nestling?!

Thanks for sharing your technical data!

I’d love to know where you got the twiggy basket. So unique and lends such wonderful texture to pictures!
