in daddy’s arms.

There’s not really much sweeter than a little guy curled up in his daddy’s arms! Ron was a tiny little peanut, but so beautiful!

little beauty.

She was a beautiful girl with the best coloring and had adorably plump lips. Her Mama and Daddy had a few pictures in mind they wanted and I’m happy to say that she modeled perfectly for each pose!

pure beauty.

Having sweet Lily in front of my lens is always a treat, but there is something extra special when we have the opportunity to capture her sleeping. She is the most stunning little girl and I feel like taking pictures of her is good for my soul. After all, Carrie’s Lily is really who sparked our true love for photographing newborns.

sweet baby James.

James | July 8, 2008 – February 3, 2009

Carrie and I were deeply touched recently after photographing a very special baby named James. Little James experienced a severe brain injury during birth and was not expected by doctors to live longer than a month. James lived to be almost 7 months old and I truly believe the amount of love he felt during his life was more than most people will feel in an entire lifetime. The tenderness that I saw through my lens as I photographed James in his mommy and daddy’s arms truly took my breath away. Words cannot adequately express the sympathy I feel for his family right now. My hope is that the pictures we captured will serve as a testament to the absolute love James was constantly wrapped in. Baby James, you will remain in a special place in my heart forever.
